Sustainability funding in one classified feed: grants, public tenders, subcontracts and partner programmes, accelerator and innovation-challenge listings, plus a directory of funders and the private and growth capital behind them (climate VCs, corporate venture arms, DFIs and impact investors). A separate signals layer tracks budget announcements and programme changes that come before a formal call. Everything is tagged against a fixed taxonomy of 32 sustainability sectors. ### Where does the data come from? More than 130 funder, government and procurement portals are pulled daily: the EU Funding and Tenders Portal, UKRI, grants.gov, DOE, the World Bank, national procurement systems, foundations and investor directories, plus dozens of sector-specific feeds. Separately, several thousand funder and corporate pages are watched for funding that has been signalled but has not opened yet. Every listing carries a link to the funder's own page, and nothing enters the feed without a source URL. The source list on the how-it-works pages shows the categories and their coverage. ### How fresh is the data? Grant and tender sources are re-checked daily, the signals crawl runs weekly and the edited news wire goes out weekly. Past-deadline calls drop out of the default view automatically, and tenders whose source gives no closing date drop out 60 days after they are listed. Each source page is compared by content hash on every check, so changed pages are reprocessed and unchanged ones are left alone. The Last refreshed page shows live timestamps for each pipeline, so you can judge the feed on its own record. ### How accurate is the data, and can I rely on it? Treat Raise Lens as a solid base for your own research, not a replacement for reading the funder's call. The funder's own description is always the primary content, and our plain-English summary sits beside it, labelled as an auto-generated summary. Records are classified against a closed taxonomy, and low-confidence classifications go to a human review queue instead of the public feed. Sector tagging is good but not perfect, particularly at taxonomy boundaries. Always check eligibility and the deadline on the funder's page before you apply, and tell us about errors at hello@raiselens.com. ### How does matching work? You fill in an eligibility profile: sectors, country, organisation type, stage and typical contract size. Each opportunity then gets a match score out of 100 from five checks: sector overlap (up to 50 points), geography (up to 20), stage (up to 15), organisation type (up to 10) and check size (up to 5). A call that excludes your country is marked down. Any check you have not filled in is skipped rather than guessed. The score is deliberately simple and you can verify it by reading the card. Free accounts see the score; Pro adds the breakdown behind it and lets you sort the whole feed by fit. ### What does the Free tier include? The full opportunities feed (grants, tenders and programmes) with search and every filter, your eligibility profile with a match score on every card, the funder directory and intelligence headline stats, and every weekly briefing with named actors anonymised. You can save up to 3 opportunities and open 3 full listings a month. The free tier never expires and does not need a card. ### What does Pro add? Pro is for when you want Raise Lens to keep searching while you work: saved-search alerts in your weekly digest, unlimited saves with deadline tracking and a calendar you can sync, the match-score breakdown and a feed sorted by fit, the named signal stream 30 days before free users see it, and the funder names, source portals and direct application links on every listing. It also includes the funding-flow tables, sector deep-dives, a first-draft application assistant (beta) and MCP access for your own AI assistant. ### How much does Raise Lens cost? Free costs £0. Pro is £50 a month or £500 a year (the annual plan saves 17% against twelve monthly payments). Team plans start from £120 a month. While founding places remain, the first 20 Pro subscribers can take Pro at £40 a month, locked for as long as they stay subscribed, in return for a short case study (a 20-minute call and a short written quote we draft for you to approve). Enterprise set-ups are scoped to the organisation and priced on request. ### Can I try Pro before paying? The free tier is the trial: it never expires, so you can judge the data quality on real searches before you pay anything. Pro is billed monthly with no long lock-in, and you can cancel at any time. If you change your mind within 14 days of first subscribing, we refund that first payment in full. ### How do I cancel? Cancel any time from Account, then Manage subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and cancellation ends your access at the end of the period you have paid for. You can also change plan from the same place. ### Can I get a refund? If you change your mind within 14 days of first subscribing, email hello@raiselens.com and we refund that payment in full. Beyond that, we don't pro-rate refunds on monthly plans, and annual subscriptions are refunded pro-rata for the unused months. Statutory rights (including the UK 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts) are unaffected by these terms. ### How do I pay, and is my card data safe? Payment is taken by Stripe, in pounds, euros or dollars depending on your location. Card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers; we keep only the Stripe customer ID and your subscription state. Team plans are invoiced on net-30 terms instead of by card. ### Can my team use it? Yes. The Team plan costs £40 per seat a month with a minimum of 3 seats (from £120 a month), on one invoice to the organisation. Each member gets their own private Pro workspace. Shared watchlists and shared saved searches are not available today. For a tender and grant pipeline set up and run for your organisation, ask about Enterprise. ### Can I export the data? There is no self-serve CSV export today. Team customers can ask for a CSV and we produce it by hand. Saved deadlines can be synced to your calendar on Pro. The terms do not allow scraping, mirroring or reselling the dataset, or training models on it without written permission, so contact us if you need data at a scale the app does not offer. ### Is there an API or MCP access? There is no public REST API; shared watchlists and API access for teams are on the roadmap. There is an MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client search Raise Lens. The free tools return the same teasers as the free tier; Pro subscribers can create up to five API keys for the Pro tools, which return funder, source and application link, with limits of 60 calls a minute and 2,000 a day per key. ### What are signals, and why does Pro see them 30 days early? Signals are early indicators that funding is coming before a formal call exists: budget allocations, programme announcements and corporate commitments found on watched funder and buyer pages. Free users see each signal with a generic descriptor (for example "a US tech company") for its first 30 days, then it opens up fully. Pro users see the named company, programme or fund the moment we detect it, which is the head start. Signals are noisier than the curated feed, because earlier means less certain. ### How do alerts work? On Pro, save a filter (sector, country, type and so on) and your weekly digest carries a section for each saved search with what is new since the last one, linked back to the filter. Deadline alerts for opportunities you have saved are a separate daily email you can switch on from your calendar page. ### Will Raise Lens write my application? No. Raise Lens finds and explains opportunities and links to the funder, and applications happen on the funder's own portal. Pro includes a draft assistant (beta) that turns a listing and your profile into a first-pass structure to edit. It is a starting point, not a submission. ### Does it cover my country and language? Public procurement is monitored across European, North and South American, African and Asian national systems plus the major multilateral development banks. Titles in more than 30 source languages are translated into English when they are ingested. Coverage is deepest for English, Spanish and Portuguese sources, and full descriptions may stay in the original language, so the source link always gives you the original. Where a national portal resists automated access it is listed as pending on the source list rather than counted as covered. Missing a market? Tell us at hello@raiselens.com. ### Why use Raise Lens instead of checking funder portals myself? You still go to the funder to apply. What Raise Lens removes is the rotation across portals: it normalises dates, currencies and sectors, drops news, jobs and events from mixed feeds, filters procurement down to the sustainability-relevant subset, and collapses the same notice republished on several portals into one record. You search once, filter by your own profile and follow the link to the original. ### What do you do with my data? We collect the minimum needed to run an account: your email, a password hash and the optional eligibility profile. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run behavioural retargeting or fingerprinting scripts. Billing is handled by Stripe. The application database is hosted in the EU. If you paste a website into the homepage analyser, we read its public pages to suggest a profile and keep the result for 30 days. The privacy notice names the data controller and sets out your rights. ### Who runs Raise Lens? Raise Lens is built and run by Andrew Holden through Greystones Advisory Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15880604). It is independent: not owned by, funded by or affiliated with any funder, portal or intermediary listed on the site, and cards are ranked on relevance and deadline, never on payment.
