About Raise Lens
Raise Lens is a curated feed of sustainability funding for companies, nonprofits and research teams at any stage. Grants, public tenders, subcontracts, accelerators and innovation challenges, plus the private and growth capital, climate VCs, corporate venture and impact investors, surfaced from government portals, multilaterals, foundations and private funds, updated daily.
What we cover
Grants, open calls from national and regional governments, multilateral institutions, philanthropic foundations, and innovation agencies, plus prizes, fellowships, tax credits and translational-research topics.
Tenders, public procurement notices from official portals across the EU, UK, US, Australia, Latin America, Africa and Asia, filtered down to the sustainability-relevant subset.
Subcontracts & partner programmes, calls for partners published by development primes, accelerators, and corporate / multilateral innovation challenges.
Private & growth capital, climate VCs, corporate venture arms, DFIs and impact investors tracked in the funder directory, so a raise isn’t limited to grants, private capital is a funding partner here, not an afterthought.
Funder & buyer directory, 7k+ active funders and 19k+ buyers (offtakers, corporates committing to climate-relevant spend) so you can target outreach beyond just the open opportunities.
Where the data comes from
We aggregate from the public funding ecosystem itself, the same government, multilateral and foundation portals where opportunities are originally published. Nothing here is invented or republished without provenance: every card links straight back to the official listing on the source's own site, and that source page is the canonical reference for terms, deadlines and how to apply.
The hard work is the layer in the middle, ingesting hundreds of heterogeneous feeds (structured APIs, RSS, HTML portals, PDFs), deduplicating across overlapping publishers, and applying a sustainability-relevance filter so you're not wading through unrelated procurement. That curation, the classification taxonomy, and the funder/buyer graph are what Raise Lens adds on top.
How we classify
Every record passes through a deterministic pre-filter (procurement classification codes for tenders, sustainability-keyword matching for everything else) before classification runs. That keeps cost down and noise out: roughly 90% of raw inbound is dropped before it ever reaches a listing.
Survivors are tagged against a strict, hand-curated sector taxonomy (32 sustainability-relevant slugs, renewable energy, carbon removal, regenerative agriculture, etc.). Output is hard-filtered against that vocabulary so a record is only tagged with a sector when the call genuinely targets it.
We re-classify historic records when we tighten the rules, the most recent pass (May 2026) removed spurious sector tags from ~58% of the tender backlog.
Data freshness
- Daily refresh of the grants feed.
- Daily refresh of the tenders feed.
- Weekly refresh of the intelligence layer (funding flows + buyer signals).
Past-deadline rows are auto-expired. Rows with deadlines more than 5 years out are hidden by default (override with ?include_stale=1).
What we deliberately don't do
No paid promotion. Cards are ranked on relevance and deadline, never on payment.
Free to search. The opportunities feed and the weekly briefing are free forever, no sign-up required. Pro is the monitoring layer: alerts on new matches, the reasons behind each score, and the named actors; it doesn't gate the underlying feed.
No application service yet. We surface opportunities and link to the official portal, applications happen there. (A grant-writing assistant is on the roadmap.)

Found something wrong?
We'd rather hear about a stale link, a mis-tagged sector or a missing funder than not. Email [email protected] with the listing URL and what looked off.
