Questions
What does the Free tier actually include?
Everything you need to discover funding: the full opportunities feed (grants, tenders, programmes), search and every filter, the public funder + intelligence dashboards, your eligibility profile with a match score on every card, every weekly Wire briefing with the named actors anonymised, and our email newsletter. You can save up to three opportunities and open three full detail pages each month. Pro is for when you want Raise Lens to keep searching for you: saved-search alerts and digests, unlimited saves, the match-score breakdown and the feed sorted by fit, the named signal stream 30 days early, and the funder names, sources and application links on every listing.
Is the data accurate?
Every listing links straight to the funder’s own page, so you can verify it at source in one click. We pull from official funder, government and procurement portals (UKRI, the EU Funding and Tenders Portal, grants.gov, the World Bank, DOE, and dozens more), classify each one against a controlled sustainability taxonomy, and re-check those classifications monthly. The funder’s own description is always shown as the primary content; our summary sits alongside it, clearly labelled, never in place of it.
How current are the listings?
Grants and tenders refresh daily, intelligence weekly. Past-deadline calls drop out of the default view automatically, and every card shows its closing date so you can see at a glance how long you have. When a programme changes on the funder’s site, the next refresh picks it up.
Can I try Pro before committing?
The Free tier is genuinely useful and never expires, so you can judge the data quality before you pay a penny. Pro is billed monthly and you can cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal, with annual plans refunded pro-rata. There is no long lock-in.
What’s the difference between the named actors and the anonymised ones?
Pro sees signals 30 days early. Pro users see the actual company, programme or fund driving each signal the moment we detect it. Free users see a generic descriptor (“a US tech company”, “a European industrial-ministry programme”) for the first 30 days, then the same signal opens up fully, named source and all. What Pro buys on the signals feed is the head start, which is the part worth paying for: a signal you act on a month before the procurement opens is worth far more than one you read about afterwards. Grants and tenders work differently, the funder name there is Pro-only regardless of age.
How does the eligibility profile work?
Tell us your sectors, country, organisation type, stage and typical contract size on /account/profile. Every opportunity card then carries a match score, on Free as well as Pro. Pro adds the breakdown behind the number (which of sector, country, stage, organisation type and size matched) and lets you sort the whole feed by best fit.
How do saved-search alerts work?
Save a filter (sector, country, type, and so on) from the feed or the signals stream, and your weekly digest carries a section for each saved search with what is new since the last one, linked straight back to the saved filter. Deadline alerts for the opportunities you have starred are a separate, daily email you can switch on from your calendar page.
Where do the funding opportunities come from?
Two layers. 110+ funder, government and procurement portals are pulled daily — the EU portal, UKRI, grants.gov, DOE, World Bank, foundations and investor directories, and dozens of sector-specific feeds — covering grants, tenders, foundations, government programmes and the private-capital landscape of climate VCs, corporate venture and growth funds. Separately, several thousand funder and corporate pages are monitored for funding that has been signalled but has not opened yet, which is what feeds the signals surface. Every listing is classified against a controlled sustainability taxonomy.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The Stripe customer portal handles cancellation, plan changes, and refund requests, open it from /account once you’re signed in. Annual subscriptions are refunded pro-rata.
Do you offer team or enterprise plans?
Yes. The Team plan (from £120/month) gives each member their own full Pro workspace, on one invoice to the organisation. £40 per seat, minimum 3 seats, invoiced on net-30 terms. Tell us your team size and use case and we’ll set you up.
