Notes

MedShare is a 501c(3) humanitarian aid organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people, communities, and our planet by sourcing and directly delivering surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need worldwide. We collect surplus medical supplies and equipment from hospitals, distributors, and manufacturers and then redistribute it to marginalized communities throughout the U.S., in regions struck by disaster, and to vulnerable populations in developing nations. Today, our global charitable healthcare partners are facing a funding crisis. The health of America's most vulnerable is at even greater risk. This is a critical moment. Your financial support of our mission provides the safety net with high-quality donated medical supplies and equipment. Every dollar saved can be invested in additional patient care. Please be as generous as you can. After 26 years, our impact has been significant; to date, we have collected and distributed over $334.1 million worth of donations of medical supplies and equipment, improving the lives of 34 million patients in 121 countries and equipped 987,113 medical professionals. This includes our disaster preparedness and recovery efforts, which provide humanitarian aid by supplying first responders and equipping medical mission teams with specific supplies that reduce the spread of infection and treat wounds. By sharing critical medical supplies and equipment to charitable healthcare providers who care for underserved populations, we improve healthcare access, drive sustainable health systems’ capacity to treat patients and improve the overall quality of care globally and locally.
