About this grant
The Adapterra Awards recognise and showcase climate adaptation projects and initiatives across Europe. The programme centres on a conference where selected projects are presented and discussed by experts, providing visibility and recognition for organisations implementing solutions to climate impacts. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, social enterprises, startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, large companies, universities, research institutions and local authorities based in EU member states. Projects must demonstrate adaptation work at prototype, pilot or mature implementation stage. Participation in the conference-based award programme, including expert discussion and project showcase, is a core requirement. This is an annual awards scheme. Organisations with demonstrated climate adaptation initiatives at implementable or pilot stage are encouraged to apply.
