This grant funds innovations that advance biodiversity conservation and sustainable value chains across the Amazon region. The call targets entrepreneurs, startups and organisations developing agtech and climate solutions that balance economic viability with ecosystem protection and climate mitigation. Eligible applicants include startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, nonprofits, social enterprises, universities and research institutions based in Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname or French Guiana. Projects at idea, research and development, prototype, pilot, pre-seed and seed stages are welcome. Proposals should present innovations addressing biodiversity conservation or sustainable value chains in Amazonian contexts, with a clear business model or pathway to scalability. Agtech and climate-focused solutions are particularly encouraged. Assessment will consider alignment with the funder's sustainability and impact investment priorities.
