About this grant
The Capacity Enhancement Support Programme (CESP) aims to address specific capacity needs identified by GBIF Participants by facilitating collaboration at regional and global levels. The annual calls for proposals provide co-funding to GBIF Participants for capacity enhancement projects. Supported activities include mentoring interactions among two or more Participants focused on transfer of information, technology, experience and best practices in small groups; support for regional events and training workshops with multi-national components to enhance individual and network capacity; production of learning and promotional resources including documentation, technical guidance, translations, and materials adapted to national or regional contexts; and other capacity development collaborations led by at least one GBIF participant aligned with current Nodes implementation plans. These capacity enhancement activities enable effective mobilization and use of biodiversity information within the GBIF network.

Eligibility
