About this grant

This grant supports innovative environmental projects addressing urban and territorial challenges in developing countries across Africa, Latin America and Asia. The call seeks to fund work on sustainable cities, land-use planning and environmental management that demonstrates novel approaches to climate adaptation, biodiversity protection or circular economy principles. Nonprofits, local authorities, universities, research institutions, social enterprises and consortia may apply. Projects at prototype or pilot stage through to mature, scalable initiatives are eligible. Applicants must show how their work tackles environmental sustainability within urban or territorial development contexts in the Global South.
