The organization provides funding and other support to create or expand protected and conserved areas that benefit species, climate, and communities. Since 1988, the funder has awarded over $382 million to approximately 323 partners toward the creation and management of over 400 new and expanded areas, protecting over 68.8 million acres with an additional 80 million acres in progress. …
