About this grant
The Stiftung GEKKO (Gekko Foundation) supports civil society groups working toward a biologically diverse, climate-friendly, and sustainable world. Since its founding in 2008, the foundation has supported civil society groups committed to preserving genetically modified organism (GMO)-free agriculture and food production. In 2022, the foundation expanded its mandate to include climate protection and increased funding accordingly.
