About this grant
This call funds transnational research and innovation projects tackling water security across Europe and partner regions. Eligible work ranges from early-stage research through to pilot demonstrations, addressing challenges in water supply, treatment, watershed management and climate-resilient systems. Applicants must form consortia of at least three partners spanning eligible countries, drawn from universities, research institutions, businesses of any size and nonprofits. Projects should align with European water policy and climate adaptation priorities. Grants are available through the call to support collaborative work at research, innovation or demonstration scale. Applications open on 8 September 2026 and close on 10 November 2026.
