Bundesregierung / Förderdatenbank
In context
This call is open to local authorities, at scale-up and mature. Funding is a grant. Coverage is read from the notice itself: Germany.
This German federal programme offers Carbon Contracts for Difference (CCfD) to municipalities and public institutions investing in low-CO2 industrial production processes. The 15-year contract covers the extra costs of building and operating the plant, with payments tied to emissions reductions and the CO2 price.
About this grant

About this sector
Industrial decarbonisation funding helps heavy industry cut emissions through electrification, fuel switching, process change and efficiency. Support is often capital-intensive and tied to a specific site, with feasibility studies leading to larger deployment calls. Applicants need emissions baselines, engineering studies and a plan to keep production running during the change.
