Eligibility
High school students worldwide are eligible to compete. The competition is open to teams of students who wish to develop business or social venture ideas.
How it's scored
Applications are judged across two main tracks: business innovation and social innovation. Grand prizes are awarded to the top three teams in each track. The Gore Innovation Excellence Prize is awarded specifically to teams who best represent the application of technology to improving lives. Teams with the most promising ideas are evaluated and awarded prize funding to develop their ventures.
