About this grant

The Horizon Europe programme funds development of high-performance thermoset materials and composites derived from renewable sources, designed for circular use and end-of-life recovery. Projects must demonstrate how these bio-based polymers can be recycled or upcycled safely and effectively, whilst meeting demanding performance standards for industrial applications. Large companies, SMEs, startups, universities and research institutions across the EU may apply as part of a consortium. Projects at prototype, pilot, pre-seed or seed stage are eligible. Grants of up to €7,000,000 per project are available through the call, which opens on 23 April 2026 and closes on 22 September 2026. Applicants must show how their work aligns with EU bioeconomy and circular-economy priorities, with particular emphasis on safe design principles and practical pathways for material recovery at end of life.
