About this grant

This grant supports projects that place Sámi traditional lifeways and cultural practices at the centre of work to protect biodiversity and address climate change across northern Scandinavia. Applicants must demonstrate how indigenous knowledge systems and cultural practices will drive environmental conservation and climate resilience in the Sápmi region. Eligible applicants include indigenous communities, Sámi-led organisations, nonprofits, community groups and social enterprises working directly with Sámi peoples.
