About this grant

The Horizon Europe programme funds research and innovation projects that tackle multi-hazard disaster risks and their cascading or cumulative effects through integrated approaches. Projects should develop risk and resilience metrics, forecasting and response tools, and apply artificial intelligence and digital innovation to disaster risk management. Work must also produce policy frameworks and support systems for long-term hazard prevention and crisis response. Universities, research institutions, nonprofits, large companies and small-to-medium enterprises can apply, working in consortia with cross-sector and international collaboration. Funding is available through the call for projects at research and development or prototype and pilot stages.
