About this grant

Flotilla Foundation invites expressions of interest for innovative projects that develop new technologies, governance approaches or incentive models to address the interconnected challenges of pollution and ocean resilience. The foundation seeks proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot projects that explore novel approaches to prevent pollution at its source and strengthen the ocean's ability to adapt to a changing climate. Projects should address either ending pollution in waterways through circular models, regenerative approaches, innovative wastewater systems, and systemic shifts that change incentives; or strengthening ocean resilience through marine protection technologies, coastal habitat restoration, blue-economy models, and solutions addressing unsustainable practices in offshore industries. The foundation prioritizes early-stage innovations that demonstrate potential to create meaningful change in real-world contexts and can be scaled or adapted for broader impact.
