About this grant

This grant supports organisations advancing democratic governance, transparency, accountability, and climate action across the Western Balkans. Funded work should strengthen peaceful integration, foster reconciliation, build constituencies for peace, or promote climate resilience and environmental health in the region. Nonprofits, charities, social enterprises, community groups, local authorities and research institutions based in or directly serving Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia may apply. Organisations at any stage of development are eligible. Applications must demonstrate how the proposed work contributes to transparent, accountable governance or peace-building efforts, or advances climate action and environmental protection in the Western Balkans.
