Eligibility
Organizations must have a mission that aligns with the foundation's values and focus areas: sustainable water initiatives (particularly in rural Africa), education for disadvantaged students facing financial or academic barriers, or fundamental healthcare delivery to underserved populations (particularly in developing countries). The foundation currently prioritizes organizations creating sustainable impact. Organizations can submit only one request per year. If a request is declined, the organization is eligible to apply again 12 months after the declination notice date.
How it's scored
Initial evaluation is based on a Letter of Inquiry demonstrating alignment between the organization's program and one of the foundation's philanthropic pillars. The foundation assesses synergy with its mission and current year budget availability. If invited to submit a full proposal, applications are reviewed by the foundation, with decisions taking up to six months. Applications are generally considered in the order received.
