About this grant

The foundation focuses on several conservation priorities including elephant protection, rhino protection, gorilla conservation, and transfrontier conservation efforts. The Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation initiative specifically involves the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia and Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe on opposite banks of the Zambezi River, along with the Sapi Reserve in Zimbabwe which was converted from a hunting area to a photographic safari area in 2016, expanding the protected zone by 1,174 square kilometers.
