Stadt Dorfen intends to comprehensively renovate (Generalsanierung) its public open-air swimming pool (Freibad), originally opened in 1964 and last renovated in 2008. The facility covers 13,152 m² with a large swimming basin (1,340 m²) and children's pool (137 m²). The renovation will modernize the facility to meet current standards including climate protection, accessibility, and technical infrastructure.
