About this tender
The Landeshauptstadt München, Baureferat, is procuring specialist engineering services (Fachplanung) for the general refurbishment (Generalinstandsetzung) and extension of the Grundschule am Dom-Pedro-Platz 2 in Munich-Neuhausen-Nymphenburg. The services cover thermal building physics, heat protection and energy balancing (Thermische Bauphysik, Wärmeschutz und Energiebilanzierung), building acoustics (Bauakustik) and room acoustics (Raumakustik). They are defined under Anlage 1 zu § 3 Abs. 1 HOAI, Ziffer 1.2, LPH 2-8, together with overarching special services (besondere Leistungen) for the project. The existing school is a listed (denkmalgeschützt) masonry building from 1899/1900 within an ensemble protection area. It is to be converted from a 5.5-form school into a 4-form all-day primary school under the Münchner Lernhauskonzept. The kitchen and canteen must be upgraded and extended with a new-build extension. Known defects include fire-protection issues in suspended ceilings, roof membrane damage, contaminants, localized moisture in external walls, overheating in the attic sports hall, a structural issue in the gymnastics room, and deficient ELT technical areas. A new ventilation system is to be retrofitted in all classrooms. The works are to be carried out in a single construction phase, with the whole school relocated for the construction period. Organising the relocation is outside the scope of this planning contract. Sustainability requirements are significant. The city aims for climate neutrality by 2035. The design should use renewable materials, minimise embodied energy, favour circular construction and ReUse/recycled materials, and use timber or timber-hybrid construction with building greening for new parts. Funding and sustainability certification are to be pursued, and planning must be economical with life-cycle costs considered over the full service life. Key parameters: around 400 pupils expected, around 331 canteen users in two sittings, existing gross floor area of about 9,800 m² and new-build GFA of about 1,250 m². The detailed task description is provided as a separate annex, which was not available in the page content. The contract duration is not stated on this page.

About this sector
Heating and cooling funding supports heat pumps, district heating, thermal networks, efficient cooling and the removal of fossil boilers. It arrives through national support schemes, local authority programmes and procurement for heat networks. Applicants typically need heat demand assessments, a connection plan and an operator for the system.
