About this tender

The procurement covers execution services for the electrical installation trades (Technische Ausrüstung, cost groups 440, 450 and 480 under DIN 276 (2018)) for the new construction of the second building phase (2. Bauabschnitt) of the ViDia Kliniken campus in Karlsruhe. The new building sits directly beside the completed first phase (Ersatzneubau 1) and must be technically, organisationally and operationally integrated into the existing hospital campus. Expected net usable floor area is roughly 24,000 m². The scope includes electrical installations, communication, security and information technology systems, building and plant automation, planning of the construction-site power supply, emergency and uninterruptible power supply (USV) for supply-critical areas, patient and nurse call systems, IT network and data cabling, WLAN infrastructure, access control and security technology, use-specific and process-related electrical systems, and planning support services. Planned areas include expanded operating and intensive care units, radiology, nuclear medicine, cardiology, oncology, pneumology, endoscopy, diabetology, thoracic and vascular surgery, the hospital pharmacy, and further examination, treatment and ward areas. Delivery is through Integrated Project Delivery (IPA) as a multi-party (Stufenvertrag) contract. Phases 1.2 to 1.3 (planning), Phase 2 (construction) and Phase 3 (warranty) are foreseen, but Phases 1.3, 2 and 3 are initially awarded only as options. Work must be carried out while the hospital remains in operation, with close interface management to Ersatzneubau 1 and compliance with critical infrastructure (KRITIS) and IT security requirements. The participation competition and subsequent negotiated procedure aim to assemble a team of partners to deliver the project jointly under IPA. This notice is Vergabepaket 4 (electrical, building automation and ICT construction works) of six packages (VP 1 to VP 6), each run as a separate procurement procedure. Bidders may submit for only one package. Contract duration beyond the optional phases is not stated.
