A projekt célja a Debrecen - Nyíregyháza között, részben új nyomvonalon vezetett 2x2 sávos közúti kapcsolat létrehozása, amely megteremti a Nyíregyháza és Debrecen gazdasági övezetei között a nagy kapacitású, biztonságos közúti összeköttetést.
