Die zahlreichen von der Binnenfischerei (Teichwirtschaften) genutzten Teiche und Teichgruppen im Einzugsgebiet der Spree und der Schwarzen Elster sind mit ca. 70 Mio. m³ Wasservolumen ein relevanter Wassernutzer.
