About this tender
The Wartburgkreis (Landratsamt Wartburgkreis) intends a comprehensive refurbishment and modernisation of Haus II of the Staatliches Gymnasium "Dr. Sulzberger" in Bad Salzungen, Otto-Grotewohl-Straße 79, a building currently used by about 400 pupils. The works aim to secure the school site long term, remove structural and technical deficiencies, substantially improve energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, adapt technical systems to current use requirements, improve accessibility in line with legal and functional requirements, and create modern learning and common-room conditions. Requirements arising from the fire protection concept currently being prepared must be incorporated into further planning, and sustainable, resource-efficient building use and long-term operating and life-cycle costs must be considered. The tender covers planning services in several lots: the technical building equipment planning for electrical systems (ELT) under § 55 HOAI, plus building object planning under § 34 HOAI and technical building equipment planning for heating, ventilation and sanitary (HLS) under § 55 HOAI. The estimated total project cost is about EUR 5.0 million gross. The client reserves the right to commission individual or multiple service phases (Leistungsphasen) in stages up to completion of the construction works, and work must begin promptly after commissioning. The indicative timetable is: commissioning from March 2027; work on service phases 1 to 4 from April to September 2027; work on phases 5 to 8 from October 2027 to a date stated as "Dezember 2023", which appears to be a typographical error; planned construction start in August 2028; and planned completion of the overall measure in December 2030. The stated objective is to complete planning and object supervision for the whole project in the period 03/2027 to 12/2030.
