About this tender
Research and development services for evaluating trial sections of temperature-reduced rolled asphalt produced according to ARS No. 9/2021. The project aims to systematically analyze the effects of temperature reduction measures on various trial sections. Work includes: (1) evaluation of existing information and test results for specified trial sections; (2) collection of current section information, extraction of core samples, and assessment of service behavior of temperature-reduced rolled asphalt (asphalt wearing, binder and base courses) compared to conventionally produced sections on at least 10 trial sections. The project will assess potential impacts of viscosity-modifying measures on service life, optimization of additive use, and construction implementation of temperature-reduced rolled asphalt layers. Results will inform updates to technical standards and further decisions on implementing temperature reduction in asphalt road construction.
