About this tender
The contract concerns the design, manufacture, supply and handover of technology for drying wet process gas containing sulfur dioxide (SO2). The technology is based on a two-stage moisture removal process. In the first stage, the process gas is cooled in a condensation section to condense a substantial portion of contained water. In the second stage, remaining moisture is removed by absorption drying in a packed drying tower where gas is directed counter-current against circulating concentrated sulfuric acid.
