About this tender

The Zweckverband Abfallwirtschaft Oberes Elbtal (ZAOE) is tendering a construction contract for a new compressor and low-calorific gas treatment plant at the Freital-Saugrund landfill (Schlammteich 2, Schachtstraße 107, 01705 Freital, Germany). The plant will run autothermally on landfill gas with at least 3 vol% methane. The installation is tendered as a functional specification with minimum equipment requirements. The target gas volume flow is 10 to 100 Nm³/h, and the thermal output should be controllable between roughly 10 kW and 100 kW. Design services are not required from bidders. Scope includes demolition and certified disposal of the existing plant, a reinforced-concrete precast garage structure. After construction, the contractor must carry out a trial operation of at least 10 days, a safety-technical acceptance inspection, and an emissions measurement. Maintenance work in the condensate shaft is also required. Execution period runs from 01.03.2027 to 31.10.2027. The tender is a single lot. Alternative (variant) bids and multiple main bids are permitted.
