Die the funder beabsichtigt auf dem Betriebsgelände des Standorts HKW Süd in Potsdam die Errichtung einer Energiezentrale, in welcher mehrere Großwärmepumpen für die Erzeugung von Fernwärme aufgestellt werden sollen. In dem Zuge soll unter anderem eine Wärmepumpe mit Wärme aus dem Flusswasser des an den Standort angrenzenden Flusses "Nuthe" betrieben werden.
