In context
This is a contract notice published by a government body covering construction and works. Delivery covers Germany (Europe). It is classified under Engineering and Infrastructure against the sustainability taxonomy rather than matched on keywords.
DB InfraGO is tendering rail works at Schönefeld in three lots: cable civil works, ESTW signalling equipment with reactivated track 5, and overhead line (OLA) work, alongside track and switch renewal. Large rail-infrastructure contractors with signalling and rail-safety track records fit best, with specialist SMEs able to sub into individual lots.

About this tender
DB InfraGO AG, Geschäftsbereich Fahrweg, procures construction works for the Schönefeld 2027/28 complex (project no. 202601466). The scope covers the new ESTW-A Schönefeld (BFHS) interlocking, the new construction of track 5 including OLA (overhead line equipment), and the renewal of track and switches. Track 5 (740 m usable length, 4 new switches) is being reactivated and commissioned together with the ESTW. At the same time, 8 switches and about 2.5 km of track in Schönefeld station will be renewed. The tender is divided into three lots: Lot 1 covers track superstructure and cable civil works (Oberbau & Kabeltiefbau), Lot 2 covers ESTW control and signalling equipment and track 5 (Ausrüstungstechnik ESTW & Gleis 5), and Lot 3 covers the overhead line (OLA). Bidders may tender for one or more lots. The ESTW Schönefeld is a prerequisite for ETCS equipment on the Erkner-Seddin corridor. ETCS equipment itself is explicitly NOT part of this construction measure. The contract is a single-order contract (Einzelbestellung) with an order period from 05.01.2027 to 31.12.2028, roughly two years. The place of performance is 12529 Schönefeld. The procedure is an EU open procedure under the Sektorenverordnung (SektVO), and the service type is building works (Bauleistung).
