Der Landkreis Nienburg/Weser plant die umfassende Modernisierung der Oberschule Uchte. Der Schulcampus umfasst mehrere Gebäudetrakte aus den 1930er- und 1960er-Jahren. Im der Rahmen der Gesamtmaßnahme sollen unterschiedliche Umsetzungsvarianten untersucht werden, darunter die Sanierung und Umstrukturierung des Bestandes sowie Teilrückbau mit Neubau.
