Procurement of building design services (Gebäudeplanung according to HOAI §§ 34 ff.) for the refurbishment of the building envelope (Gebäudehülle) of the main building of the Humboldt-Werkrealschule (HUM) at Humboldtstraße 29, 68169 Mannheim. Bidder eligibility
Two reference projects are required, each a new build or general refurbishment including service phases (LPH) 3 to 8, with at least EUR 500,000 net costs in cost groups KG 300 and 400, at least 1,000 m² gross floor area, commissioned by the user and completed no more than 10 years before publication. Projects with non-compliant references are excluded. For consortia, one member must supply the reference. Professional liability insurance with minimum cover of EUR 3 million for personal injury and EUR 1 million for property and financial loss, each twice per year (alternatively a declaration to obtain it upon award). Economic standing: total turnover over the last three financial years of at least EUR 500,000 net for building design services (consortium members each submit). Professional registration: natural persons entitled to use the title Architekt or Ingenieur (or a legal entity naming a responsible qualified professional), authorised to submit building documents (bauvorlagenberechtigt) in Germany for all trades. SME and freelancer participation is expressly welcomed.
