Die the funder beabsichtigt, eine rund 400 m lange innerstädtische Straßenachse - die sogenannte "MARTa-Achse" - städtebaulich hochwertig umzugestalten. Diese Achse verläuft von der unmittelbaren Umgebung des MARTa-Museums bis in die Innenstadt (Rathaus) und umfasst die Arndtstraße sowie die Schillerstraße.
