Gesamtprojekt: Der the funder setzt im Rahmen der REGIONALE 2025 das durch den Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) geförderte Projekt "Zurück in die Zukunft: Natur- und KulturErlebnis Windeck/Sieg" um. Gegenstand ist die denkmalgerechte und nutzerfreundliche Aufwertung der Burgruine Windeck in der Gemeinde Windeck, Ortsteil Altwindeck. Ziel ist es, die Anlage zu einem barrierearmen Erlebnis-, Aufenthalts- und Lernort weiterzuentwickeln und stärker in die regionale Tourismusstruktur einzubinden.
