Das Lärm-Monitoring des the funders (EBA) erfasst Schallemissionen aus dem Eisenbahnverkehr im zeitlichen Verlauf einheitlich und vergleichbar und zeigt die Ursachen der Emissionen bzw. deren Änderungen auf. Die Daten werden transparent der Öffentlichkeit dar-gestellt, über Pegel einzelner Zugvorbeifahrten in Echtzeit auf www.laerm-monitoring.de und über statistische Auswertungen in Jahresberichten. Der derzeitige Vertrag endet mit dem Jahr 2026, so dass mit dieser Ausschreibung die Fortführung ab dem Jahr 2027 beauftragt werden soll.
