Im Zuge der Sanierung und Neugestaltung des Strassenraums wird der bestehende Strassenoberbau vollständig erneuert und an die heutigen Anforderungen angepasst. Die bestehende Fahrbahn sowie die Geh- und Randbereiche werden rückgebaut und entsprechend dem neuen Strassenprojekt neu erstellt. Die Werkleitungsinfrastruktur umfasst insbesondere die Trinkwasserversorgung, die Elektrizitätsversorgung sowie die Fernwärme.
