About this tender
The Stadt Geesthacht is renewing the sludge dewatering facilities at the Düneberg wastewater treatment plant, Am Schleusenkanal 38-40, 21502 Geesthacht. The works include renovation and extension of the flocculant dosing station (Fällmittelstation). This tender covers Gewerk 4, the electrotechnical equipment, under a public tender procedure according to VOB/A for construction services. The scope comprises a low-voltage switchgear, a programmable logic controller (PLC), frequency converters, a sub-distribution board for the flocculant station (conversion and extension), a sub-distribution board for the activated sludge tank (extension), measuring technology (level, flow and pressure), local control stations, cables and installation material, building installation, equipotential bonding, a temporary installation for the conversion phase, and demolition work. The scope also includes technical project processing, initial testing, commissioning, and preparation of approval and as-built documentation. Execution is scheduled to begin on 14.12.2026, with completion or service duration stated as 17.09.2027. Plan documents were updated in Version 2 (08.09.2026), and the bill of quantities was updated in Version 3 (14.09.2026). Bidders must use Version 3 of the tender documents for their offers. Bidder eligibility
Bidders may prove suitability through entry in the Präqualifikationsverzeichnis of the Verein für die Präqualifikation von Bauunternehmen e.V. Bidders that are not prequalified must submit the completed 'Eigenerklärung zur Eignung' (self-declaration of suitability) with the offer as provisional proof. Subcontractors must also be prequalified or meet the prerequisites for prequalification, or provide their own self-declarations if required. If a bid reaches the shortlist, the self-declarations must be confirmed on request with certificates from the competent authorities. Certificates not in German must be accompanied by a German translation. Proof of technical competence (Fachkunde) must be provided under § 6a Abs. 3 VOB/A, as specified in the tender documents. Subsequent submission of certain documents is permitted under § 16a VOB/A.
