About this tender

The Ville de Fribourg (Service du génie civil, de l'environnement et de l'énergie, Secteur Ponts et Chaussées) is procuring civil engineering works to fully redevelop the Vignettaz-Daler square in Fribourg (Quartier Beaumont-Vignettaz, between the Villars, Vignettaz and Poudrière roads). The project involves a large-scale de-sealing of the ground, converting two thirds of the mineral surfaces into planted areas, including removing the current car park in favour of a multipurpose lawn and a children's play area. The works also include renovating the kiosk and reorienting its opening towards a gravel plaza, converting the basketball court into a multisports area, and building a water play area fed by the drinking water network. Further scope covers associated road works to create shared-space zones on the Vignettaz and Poudrière roads, planting of beds along the carriageway, and rebuilding the bus stop on route de Villars to comply with the LHand disability standard (including tactile guidance and mast-mounted elements). Street furniture and lighting will also be installed. Landscaping works are being tendered separately, but they run in parallel and are closely linked to this contract. The contractor must plan for coordination with the other trades, and this coordination is expected to be included in the bid. The contract duration is not specified in the notice and the contract may not be extended. The notice is a correction (#44926-02, dated 30.09.2026) of the original invitation (#44926-01, 28.09.2026). The correction moved the opening of tenders to 11.11.2026 at 13:30, updated the procurement office contact details, and revised the rules on multiple bids from consortia.
