About this tender
The Stadt Bad Dürkheim is procuring structural engineering (Tragwerksplanung) services for the energy-efficiency renovation and modernisation of the Valentin-Ostertag-Schule, a school building in Bad Dürkheim. The contractor will carry out the structural assessment, strengthening and construction interface planning for both subsidised and non-subsidised measures. The building envelope works include the renewal and structural review of all façade and roof build-ups (thermal insulation), replacement of all windows, post-and-rail façades and external doors, including removal of integrated parapet elements. Solar shading will be installed (south-facing blinds and solar-control glazing on the north side), and window openings on the lower ground floor will be enlarged to create direct exits to the schoolyard. The technical building services (TGA) works comprise replacing gas heating with an air-to-water heat pump, installing a building management system compliant with the GModG (Gebäudemodernisierungsgesetz) including digital thermostatic valves, and fitting decentralised ventilation units with heat recovery, CO2 control and cooling in classrooms and staff rooms, or individual room ventilators in offices. Additional works include renovation of ground-floor sanitary facilities and integration of a photovoltaic system for self-consumption of electricity. The stated objective is to appoint a qualified structural engineer for the static evaluation, strengthening and construction interface coordination of these works. Duration of the engagement is not stated in the notice.
