About this grant
The AGIBaC (Acquisition of Geological Data for Low-Carbon Industries) programme aims to acquire data to improve knowledge of subsurface geology (both onshore and offshore) and test innovative processes for geological CO₂ storage. The programme finances studies, analyses, and pilot projects that support the development of low-carbon industries in France. Eligible projects must fall within one of four independent axes: testing CO₂ injection in depleted reservoirs, improving geological knowledge through 2D/3D seismic campaigns, characterisation testing during future boreholes, or testing dissolved CO₂ injection in existing geothermal doublets. Eligibility
The programme is open to companies, research organisations, and associations, either independently or in collaboration with research organisations or public institutions (collaboration is not mandatory). Projects must be located in metropolitan France (hexagonal France). Applicants must participate in a mandatory pre-deposit meeting at least one month before each submission deadline. All project leaders are required to contact ADEME teams to request a pre-deposit slot and submit Annex 2 to [email protected].
