About this grant

This programme, funded by the Fondo Nacional de Eficiencia Energética (FNEE) and managed by IDAE, provides aid for energy efficiency actions in SMEs and large companies in the Spanish industrial sector in 2026. It responds to the fact that industry consumes around 25% of final energy in Spain and that energy efficiency is a priority measure in the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC) 2023-2030. The programme aims to reduce final energy consumption and thereby contribute to the Member State energy saving obligation under Article 8 of Directive (EU) 2023/1791, with savings required to be achieved by 31 December 2030. It promotes the adoption of energy efficiency technologies and processes in industry, including improvements in technologies and processes and the implementation of energy management systems. Total funding is 300,000,000 euros, approved by the Council of Ministers on 29 July 2025 and distributed territorially among the Autonomous Communities and the cities of Ceuta and Melilla through the Sectoral Energy Conference agreement of December 2025. Because of this distribution, the calls are operated regionally: the autonomous communities and Ceuta and Melilla publish the actual convocatorias, handle applications, and are responsible for verifying correct execution of funded actions and ensuring compliance with national and EU rules. The page itself is an informational landing page describing the programme framework and linking to regional calls. It does not set out detailed activity lists, scoring rules, or specific award amounts per beneficiary; eligible actions are referred to a separate section on subvencionables actions.
