About this grant
The Horizon Europe programme funds research and innovation projects using living labs to drive transformative change in biodiversity conservation, circular economy, and marine sustainability. Projects must combine research institutions, businesses, civil society organisations and communities in co-design and testing of nature-based and circular solutions at scale, with integrated knowledge across natural sciences, social sciences and digital tools. Eligible applicants include universities, research institutions, large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, nonprofits and local authorities, working as consortia. Projects must demonstrate transformative outcomes and scalability potential, aligned with the EU Biodiversity Strategy 2030. Grants of up to €7,000,000 per project are available. The call opens on 20 April 2027 and closes on 22 September 2027.
