About this grant
The Free State of Thuringia supports flood protection and flowing water development measures. The programme funds projects to reduce flood risk through recovery of natural retention areas via dike removal and relocation, technical flood protection measures, water retention measures, technical concepts, planning and preparatory investigations, and initial equipment for water defence services. It also funds projects for development of flowing waters through creation of near-natural water structures, improvement of water passability, and creation of water development concepts and plans. …
