About this grant
This programme provides direct grants to Spanish renewable hydrogen production projects selected through the European Hydrogen Bank's Auction-as-a-Service (AaaS) scheme. The scheme allows Spain to allocate national budget to projects located in its territory that have been ranked competitively in European Innovation Fund auctions but for which the European auction budget was insufficient. The programme funds projects through a per-kilogram payment mechanism for verified and certified renewable hydrogen (or low-carbon electrolytic hydrogen in the IF25 auction). …
