About this grant

The State of Bavaria (Freistaat Bayern) offers state guarantees (Bürgschaften) to promote housing construction and modernization. The programme provides default guarantees (Ausfallbürgschaften) for loans used to create new residential space through construction or first-time purchase within two years of completion, to modernize existing housing, to purchase existing residential property for personal use, and for refinancing of previously guaranteed loans even with a change of lender.
