About this grant

Mon parcours économies d'énergie is an ADEME programme that helps French businesses finance a voluntary energy audit in industry, a first step toward a sound energy strategy and better site performance. The audit identifies energy expenditure, recommends the most effective and profitable actions, ranks those actions by payback period and ease of implementation, and provides a basis for an Energy Management System (SMÉ). The page cites typical savings of 10 to 20 percent per site. The audit methodology follows standard NF EN 16247 (version 2022). ADEME covers part of the audit cost, up to 60 percent for large enterprises, 70 percent for medium-sized enterprises and 80 percent for small enterprises. Companies subject to the regulatory energy audit every four years are excluded, as are tertiary premises alone. Audit-only funding is meant to be limited to cases where a mix-evolution opportunity study is not judged relevant; combined audit plus opportunity study projects are preferred. The programme can be combined with PACTE Industrie, which funds an energy-mix opportunity study delivered by the same ADEME-referenced provider in parallel with the audit, producing a decarbonisation roadmap for the industrial site. Applications are submitted through the ADEME AGIR platform, which requires an account, and a prior contact with the relevant ADEME regional directorate is recommended. Aid is granted through ADEME regional directorates, and deployment varies across territories.
