Warm Homes: Local Grant
In context
This call is open to individuals. Funding is a grant. Coverage is read from the notice itself: United Kingdom.
Government grant for UK households to improve their home's energy efficiency through retrofits and upgrades. Eligible homeowners can apply directly to access funding for measures such as insulation, heating systems, and other energy-saving improvements.
About this grant
The Warm Homes: Local Grant provides free energy saving improvements to homes in England for eligible households. The programme aims to help low-income households improve their home's energy efficiency and reduce energy costs. If eligible and local council funding is available, a home survey is arranged to assess energy efficiency improvements. Potential improvements include wall, loft and underfloor insulation, air source heat pumps, smart controls, and solar panels. The local council organises and pays for all agreed improvement work at no cost to the homeowner, though landlords may need to contribute to some improvements.
