About this tender
The Dutch government is commissioning a benthic survey of the Doordewind Wind Farm Zone (DDW WFZ) to support offshore wind farm development as part of a national road map targeting 23 GW of offshore wind capacity. The survey will collect factual benthic data to validate findings from a desktop reef detection study (results expected July 2026) and establish a baseline environmental measurement of the benthic environment in the designated zone. The project is managed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and will inform future wind farm development decisions.
