Bidder eligibility

Reputed contractors or construction firms with at least 5 years of general construction experience. Specific experience requires satisfactory completion of similar hydraulic structure works (regulator, sluice gate, submerged weir, cross dam, box culvert, syphon, RCC drain, RCC canal, or bridge) of at least Tk 96.0 lakh each, under a maximum of two contracts within the last 5 years. Financial standing: minimum free fund, liquid asset, working capital, or credit facilities of Tk 135.00 lakh. An original scanned liquid asset or credit facility certificate from a scheduled bank of Bangladesh, or a bank letter of commitment/line of credit, must be enclosed. Average annual construction turnover of at least Tk 96.0 lakh over the last 5 years. Documents required: up-to-date trade license, income tax clearance certificate, and VAT registration certificate. Documents submitted must be issued between the publication date and the submission date. Bidders may bid for all packages but may be awarded only one tender.
